Our History

River Niger Forage Sarl is newly formed company which was popularly known as Ganga Boreholes Ltd. Is operated and has been established in South Sudan in 2012. This is the third biggest expansion by River Niger Forage Sarl since we have started drilling across India since 1992.The first expansion was to establish “River Niger Forage Sarl” in Lusaka, Zambia in the year 2005, serving thousands of happy customers in the private sector throughout Zambia and also the Public sector.The second expansion being that GBL expanded into the private market of Nigeria with the trading name “Sun Boreholes Ltd” in mid 2012.

Humble beginnings
River Niger Forage Sarl started business with name GBL. Since GBL's Origin in 1992, the company has done a lot of water borehole drilling for both government and private domestic uses. GBL's working name "JMR infrastructure's" in India has 4 Rigs and Support trucks working in Jharkhand and Maharashtra.
2005
New headquarters
GBL's working name "Ganga Drilling and Exploration Ltd", based in Lusaka, Zambia was formed in the year 2005. Since then they have been well established and are ranking top in the field performing various works like.
1. Government Boreholes all over Zambia
2. Private Domestic Boreholes in Lusaka, Kafue,Chama,
Mazabuka, Chisamba, Kaoma, Mongu, Kasama, Kitwe, Ndola.
3. Mine Drilling in Kafue, Lusaka West, Kaoma etc.

Opening business in new location
GBL also entered into Nigerian market recently in 2012 with trading name "Sun Boreholes Ltd" hoping to do the best in Nigeria as well.
